heading to the playa for my 7th Burn, and my fiance's 4th. Well versed in this stuff, but can anyone tell us where to get EL wire in LA? Everyplace I find on line is for on line sales only. No "brick and morter" places to pick stuff up? Also, totally dumb question, but, where can we get cheapo goggles. There are about 12 trillion little shops on upper Haight or South of Market in the city where you can find 8 dollar pairs of goggles, but can't find anything on line here. Figure if we can find these two items, we'll be able to find anything else we need.
I know there's a huge Burner crowd down here as I've met some very cool So Cal peeps out on the Playa. Where is everyone?

Thu, August 6, 2009 - 9:31 AMI know livewireneone has a location in the valley that you can walk into and they have a bunch of precut EL Wire, not sure if they have stuff that you can buy raw though. For goggles, I read that you can find some at Aardvarks or www.roadvisionla.com/ they are located in the LA area.
